Essential Information

Large free parking lot at trailhead with overflow available. No water sources on trail - bring minimum 2 liters per person. Best hiked October through May; summer ascents should start pre-dawn. Vault toilets at trailhead. Popular sunrise/sunset destination requiring headlamps for partial dark hiking. Interpretive signs detail local flora, fauna, and geology.
